GHIMA Joins the Ranks with Leading Healthcare Organizations to Become an Affiliate for an Online ICD-10 Readiness CourseAnatomy & Physiology for Medical Coders
BEDFORD, MASSACHUSETTS – November 5, 2012 – Georgia Health Information Management Association (GHIMA) signed a course affiliate partner agreement to offer Barry Libman Inc.’s Anatomy & Physiology for Coders course to its’ members.
A non-profit organization, GHIMA is a component state association of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). GHIMA consists of six regional associations include Augusta Area, Greater Atlanta, Middle Georgia, Northeast Georgia, Southeast Georgia, and South Georgia. GHIMA provides members with education, communicates with them regularly on issues affecting their employers and the healthcare industry, and keeps members informed of local affairs that affect the health information management profession.

The course uses the textbook and supplemental CD, Fundamentals of Anatomy & Physiology by Donald Rizzo.
