RIHIMA, a non-profit organization, is a component state association of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).

The course uses the textbook and supplemental CD, Fundamentals of Anatomy & Physiology by Donald Rizzo. The course has received prior approval for 24 continuing education units (CEUs) from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and 12 continuing education units (CEUs) from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC).
